ENVIRAL will present the EXCornsEED project at the International Conference on Renewable Resources & Biorefineries, which will take place in Aveiro (Portugal) from 6th to 8th September 2021.

The conference aims at providing an overview of the scientific, technical, economic, environmental and social issues of renewable resources and biorefineries in order to give an impetus to the bio-based economy and to present new developments in this area. Delegates from university, industry, governmental an non-governmental organizations and venture capital providers will present their views on industrial biotechnology, sustainable (green) chemistry and agricultural policy related to the use of renewable raw materials for non-food applications and energy supply.

In this unique framework, Petra Ondrejíčková will provide a comprehensive overview on the progresses and results achieved within EXCornSEED. The presentation ‘Biorefinery side streams valorisation, scenario of traditional biorefinery transformation into the integrated highly sustainable biorefinery‘ will be held during the session ‘Novel Fermentation Processes‘, which will take place on September 7th, 2021.
